All dogs within the boundaries of the Corporation of the Town of Gravenhurst must be licenced. Dog licences must be renewed by January 4, 2011 and attached to the dog. All dogs must be inoculated with the anti-rabies vaccine before a licence is issued. Licence fees are as follows:
Kennel licences must be applied for at the Town Office (5 Pineridge Gate). Properties must be rezoned and other criteria must be fulfilled before a kennel licence is issued. 2011 dog licences may be purchased at the Town Office (5 Pineridge Gate) or at Pet Valu on Talisman Drive. A veterinarian’s certificate is required to show proof of rabies inoculation and spaying or neutering certificate for licence discounts.
