Clerk's Office

The Clerk's Department provides administrative support to Council and its Committees and ensures that all of the actions taken by Council are recorded and communicated.

The primary role of the Clerk’s Department is generally dictated by provincial legislation, particularly:The Municipal Act, The Municipal Elections Act, The Municipal Freedom of Information Protection of Privacy Act, The Marriage Act and Vital Statistics.
