Town Looking for Feedback to Improve Website Experience
Future Improvements to Gravenhurst.ca Aim to Enhance Functionality 
 
Gravenhurst, ON - The Town of Gravenhurst is looking towards the future to ensure its website platform is meeting the needs of the community. Over the next few months, the Town will be working to review and improve current functionality of the website and provide an upgraded mobile friendly experience.
 
“We’re looking to the community to help us better serve their needs. We want to know how we can improve a user’s overall experience on the Town’s website,” said Marta Proctor, director of communications, culture and recreation. “Our goal is to use the community input we receive through our Website Improvement Survey and incorporate this feedback into our new website design,” added Proctor.
 
The Website Improvement Project was approved by Council during the recent Capital Budget. It directly aligns with a number of priories set out in the Town’s Strategic Plan, namely to Provide Better Municipal Service and Build on Connections and Connectivity, (working to promote Gravenhurst as a leading edge, technologically advanced and intelligent community).
 
Citizens both year-round and part-time, as well as visitors to the community are encouraged to participate in a short survey available at www.gravenhurst.ca/websurvey. There is also the opportunity to take part in a Focus Group Session (Wednesday May 2, 6-9pm) at the Gravenhurst Opera House in the Trillium Court. The Focus Group will help shape the navigation of the new and improved website.  Additional details and Online registration for the Focus Group will be available at www.gravenhurst.ca/webimprovement.
