GRAVENHURST- It has been a busy year so far for Toronto’s Dirty Dishes. Fresh off their tour of snowy Alberta, this kick-in-the-pants roots trio is coming home for a series of dates in Ontario and will make a stop at the Gravenhurst Opera House Saturday February 24.

Coming together with extraordinary energy and bringing a shine to every space they fill, Dirty Dishes has spent over 10 years breaking hearts and soothing souls at clubs, fairs, theatres and festivals across Canada. Loved for their down-home music, tight harmonies and unforgettable charm, the group features Lisa Olafson on ukulele, Alison Porter on fiddle and Suzy Wilde on guitar and washboard (with frequent backing by rhythm section, “The Plate Rails”; Henry Heillig on bass and Jay Boemer on drums).

The Dishes cook up a tasty blend of country, folk, bluegrass, roots and gospel, with their original music as well as tributes to many beloved artists from classic Hank Williams and Dolly Parton to current Canadian favourites like Joel Plaskett and Fred Eaglesmith.

On top of touring across the country, Dirty Dishes is currently writing music for their fourth album. They look forward to returning to the Gravenhurst Opera House on February 24th to share their sound with you!
