Extreme Cold Weather Resources in Muskoka

Muskoka is currently experiencing extreme cold weather conditions, which are expected to continue for several days.  During extreme cold weather, the District would like to remind residents to limit exposure to the elements and to seek shelter and warmth, if needed, at any of the warming or comfort stations throughout Muskoka.

Find your nearest warming or comfort station location.

People who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness are encouraged to contact the District at 705-645-2412 for resources.  The District's Community Services Offices are open during office hours as warming and comfort stations.

The Salvation Army will also make their resources available to those requiring assistance during extreme cold events.  To reach them please call the church line at 705-645-2602 at any time during the extreme cold advisory.
