The Gravenhurst Fire Department operates from three fire stations that are located throughout the community.

Station One

Station One is located at 190 Harvie Street (on the corner of First Street in downtown Gravenhurst) and is the Headquarters of the Fire Department. Station One is home to:

Unit One is a 2008 Pumper (Engine) built by Pierce Manufacturing. It features a Hale 5000 litre (1050 imperial gallon) per minute pump and carries 2295 litres (504 imperial gallons) of water in its booster tank and a variety of firefighting and rescue equipment.

 

Gravenhurst first station unit threeUnit Three

Unit Three is a Rescue Pumper (Engine) built by Superior Emergency Equipment. It features a Hale 5000 litre (1050 imperial gallon) per minute pump and 4546 litre (1000 imperial gallon) water tank and carries a variety of rescue equipment including the departments "Jaws of Life" extrication equipment.

Unit Five is a 1997 Pumper Tanker built by C-Max. Unit Five features a 6400 litre (1500 gallon) tank. It has a1932 litre (425 imperial gallon) per minute pump.

Unit Six is an Emergency Support Unit, built in 1992 by Grumman on a General Motors chassis. Its primary purpose is to transport personnel and equipment to an emergency scene.

Unit Eight is a 2009 Pumper Tanker built on a Pierce Manufacturing chassis. It carries 7737 litres (1,702 imperial gallons) of water. Unit Eight has a 1932 litre (425 imperial gallon) per minute pump.

 

Unit Nine

Unit Nine is a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 4 x 4 pick-up truck and is used primarily to transport firefighters and equipment in off-road or severe weather circumstances. It is equipped with wildland firefighting equipment in the summer, and water/ice rescue equipment in the winter.

Car One

Car One is a 2013 Ford Explorer Sports Utility Vehicle used by command staff and contains a variety of initial response equipment.

Station Two

Station Two is located at 1030 Kilworthy Road (just off Highway 11 on the southbound side). Station Two is home to:

Unit Four is a 2010 Pumper (Engine) built by Pierce Manufacturing. Unit Four has a Hale 5000 litre (1050 imperial gallon) per minute pump and carries 3003 litres (660 imperial gallons) of water in its booster tank along with a variety of firefighting and rescue equipment.

Unit Ten is a 2013 Pumper Tanker on a Spartan Metro Star MFD chassis built by Dependable Emergency Vehicles.  It carries 6520 litres (1434 imperial gallons) of water as well as 191 litres (50 US gallons) of Class B firefighting foam.  Unit Ten has a Hale 5000 litre (1050 imperial gallon) per minute pump.

Unit Two is a 2004 Pumper (Engine) built by E-One/Superior, Alberta. Unit Two has a Hale 5000 litre (1050 imperial gallon) per minute pump and 2728 litre (600 imperial gallon) water tank. It carries a variety of firefighting and rescue equipment.
