Gravenhurst Day Nursery is a registered day care. It is licensed for 20 children, and has two ECE qualified staff. The Nursery is run on a family oriented philosophy with all siblings together. A full range of learning activities are available.

This is a licensed early learning centre/childcare facility for 64 children with qualified staff to plan and implement a child care service based on a family system philosophy. Children are encouraged to participate in a program of educational play aimed at promoting social, emotional and cognitive growth, self-help skills, communication, and motor development. The daycare integrates children with special needs.

Muskoka Family Focus also runs an Early Years Program at the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre. Hours are Mondays 9:15am to 3:00pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:15am to 1:00pm. Parents and other caregivers can come with their children and have an opportunity to visit, play with others, share experiences and make use of the resources.

Gravenhurst Children's Place also hosts an Early Years Dinner Program on Thursday evenings between 5:00 and 7:30pm. In addition to the benefits of a regular Early Years program, families with children 0-6 years of age, can enjoy a free nutritious meal.
