Detour MapEffective immediately the Town of Gravenhurst will be closing Arthur Schulz Road to thru traffic at the Jevins Creek crossing. The closure will remain in place until the end of June allowing a suitable period for the heightened runoff to subside following the spring freshet period, and a thorough investigation of the drainage infrastructure to be performed. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry – Parry Sound District is advising area residents that a Watershed Conditions Statement - Water Safety is in effect in the District until Thursday, April 02, 2020. 
With cool temperatures, banks and shorelines adjacent to water bodies are extremely slippery and unstable. Residents and visitors should exercise caution while around water bodies and maintain close supervision of children and pets.
