Swim Advisory - Muskoka Beach Park - June 29, 2022

Gravenhurst, ON - Based on beach water samples collected by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) on June 29, the SMDHU has recommended that Muskoka Beach Park (1141 Muskoka Beach Rd) be posted with swim advisory signs.

During a swim advisory, the beach is posted with warning signs identifying that the most recent water samples showed bacteria in numbers. These numbers may increase users’ risk of developing minor skin, eye, ear, nose or throat infections, or stomach illness....

Muskoka Bay Park Swim Advisory Lifted

Gravenhurst, ON – Please be advised the Swim Advisory issued for Muskoka Bay Park (700 Muskoka Rd. 169) on Friday, June 24th, has been lifted, effective immediately.

The Town, in partnership with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, will continue to monitor all municipal beaches and water quality, and advise the public should there be any concerns.
