(June 28, 2023) UPDATE - The road is now open.

A section of North Kahshe Lake Road, east of 1115 North Kahshe Lake Rd., is closed due to a washout caused by the heavy rainfall today.
Crews are on scene, assessing the damage, and working to restore access as soon as possible.
The town has notified emergency services.

Director receives professional designation
Council congratulated Kayla Thibeault, director of legislative services and clerk for the Town of Gravenhurst, on receiving her Accredited Ontario Municipal Clerk (AOMC) designation.
The Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario says the accreditation certifies a clerk on their education, experience, and professional contributions.

The Muskoka Power Boat Races return Saturday, June 24, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, June 25, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Gull Lake.
Expect to see busier than usual local roads over the weekend.
