 MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund (IAF)
 MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund targets seed stage investors in Ontario, investing in IT, health and clean tech companies. Up to $500,000 for early-stage companies and up to $250,000 for Youth IAF.
Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports

Grants Ontario provides you with one-window access to information about grants that are available to you, how to apply for grants and how to check the status of your application.

We provide project and operating grants to:

  • Arts and cultural groups and other members of creative industries.
  • Public libraries, community museums, heritage organizations and historical societies. Three museum advisors, one conservation advisor and one historical resources consultant offer specialized advisory services to these grant recipients and other Ontario museums and heritage groups. Their services include site visits, training workshops and printed material such as a Museum Notes series.
  • Tourism associations, economic development corporations, municipalities, festivals and events, tourism businesses and organizations interested in undertaking tourism-related initiatives which support industry development and increased visitation.

  • Celebrate Ontario grants help create jobs and grow local economies across the province, supporting new and improved experiences that attract tourists and boost visitor spending. Click the link to find out more about the Celebrate Ontario program.

 Eastern Ontario Development Fund - Business Stream
 The Eastern Ontario Development Fund gives money to businesses, municipalities and not-for-profit organizations for economic development in eastern Ontario.
  • Small Community Program: Businesses with 5-10 employees located in small communities may be eligible for funding from the Small Community Program.
  • Business stream provides up to 15% of eligible project costs for a maximum grant of $1.5 million.
  • Regional stream provides up to 50% of eligible project costs for a maximum grant of up to $1.5 million.
 FedNor (Northern Ontario Development Program)
 Program funding for projects that support community economic development, business growth and competitiveness, and innovation. 
 Canada-Ontario Job Grant
 The Canada-Ontario Job Grant provides 2/3 of the cost, up to $10,000, in government support per employee for training costs to small or medium-sized businesses (50 or less employees).
