As part of Gravenhurst's Downtown Revitalization project in 2012, a Community Improvement Plan (CIP) was developed to assist property and business owners Within the designated Community Improvement Plan Boundaries that need building and façade improvements, and includes tax incentive grants permitted under the Municipal Act, for qualified projects. Below is a blueprint of the newly expanded area of those eligible to apply to the program. The Town also adopted a façade and streetscape design guidelines to create a more cohesive and inviting look and feel in the urban area.
