Lease Opportunities: Test out a new market at the Muskoka Wharf

Take advantage of a popular summertime destination right on Lake Muskoka that offers great dining, shopping and home to some of Gravenhurst’s signature attractions & events. The Wharf features a beautiful boardwalk trail along Lake Muskoka, marina gas & docking for boats and pontoon aircraft, professional services & plenty of parking. The Muskoka Wharf is also home to one of Muskoka's oldest and most successful Farmers' Markets that runs May through October, daily Steamship Cruises (May through October), weekly water ski shows in summertime (Thursdays) as well as a busy hotel and museum, in addition to many retail and dining attractions.

The shops help meet a key objective of the Muskoka Wharf Revitalization Plan – attracting more retail to the wharf, resulting in additional reasons for people to visit the area.

“At the same time the shops offer small footprint retail opportunities for businesses that don’t have the capacity to support their own location yet,” economic development coordinator Jennifer Brockett said. “The suggestion for pop-up retail was the fifth most repeated suggestion during the public consultation that led to the revitalization plan.”
