Dementia Friendly Communities - October 5 at 10:30am

Did You Know... Over 225,000 Ontarians are diagnosed with dementia? Of those, close to 10,000 people diagnosed with dementia are under the age of 65. In addition, it is believed that 60 percent of people living with dementia will become lost at some point.

Cricut Creations: Bookmarks

Make custom bookmarks this October in our Cricut Creations workshop! Participants are encouraged to bring a personal computer, but this is not mandatory for participation.

Author Event: Jeffrey Archer - October 15 at 10am

We are excited to have bestselling author Jeffrey Archer join us for a morning author event. He will be discussing his latest novel in the William Warwick series, Next in Line. Archer is the author of the Clifton Chronicles series, as well as his personal prison diaries.

Have you ever saved something on your computer and had a difficult time finding it again? Join us in this Tech Time workshop and learn how to create, save and organize files on your computer.

Library Board Meetings - October 20 at 6pm - Virtual via Zoom

Gravenhurst: From Rip-Roaring Frontiertown to Cultural Mecca - October 12 at 7pm

Local legend suggests that the culture of brawling and bear-baiting brought to Gravenhurst by loggers and lumbermen from about 1870-1910, collided with the town’s history of local theatre and music concerts in an Opera House second to none. Come and discover the clash between the brawling brawny loggers of the past and the cultured citizens of that time—and how these two opposing forces still managed to support one another.

Adult Board Game Night - 3rd Thursday of the Month at 6pm

Do you love board games? We are starting an adult board game night. Join us once a month on the 3rd Thursday to play a new game or an old favourite. No experience needed.

One-on-one Tech Help - Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Figuring out a new device? Looking to try a new app? If you’ve got a tech question, big or small, book a free appointment today for one-on-one tech help. Appointments are 30 minutes long.

When: Tuesdays from 10am-12pm and Wednesdays from 1pm-4pm by Zoom or phone

Adult Craft Club/Twine Pumpkins - October 18 at 2:30pm

Come by the Library to learn how to create twine pumpkins just in time for fall. These cute little pumpkins are easy and fun to create.
