Safety Protocols for our Guests & Patrons as of March 21, 2022
We are excited to welcome you back to the theatre in 2022 and encourage you to find out how COVID-19 has changed your theatre experience. Our commitment still remains the same - offer you amazing performances in a beautiful setting with your safety top of mind!
- The Province of Ontario has granted permission for Theatres/Performing Arts Centres to have 100% of their capacity.
- Patrons are highly encouraged to wear face coverings within 2 metres of another person, but this is not mandatory.
- Staff and volunteers are required to wear a face covering until April 4, 2022. Following this date, wearing of a face covering within 2 metres of another person is highly encouraged, but not mandatory.

- On-Line or telephone ticket purchases will be encouraged. Purchasers will be encouraged to print their tickets at home.
- There will be minimized Box Office hours of operation for those patrons that need to purchase tickets in person.
- Will Call ticket pick up is available up to 1 hour prior to the show time.
- For Door Sales / Walk Up Sales, the Patron may be asked to wait in Trillium Court until lobby area is clear of patrons, then can purchase tickets.
- Patron contact information must be provided for the purposes of contact tracing should that be required.

Seating & Traffic Flow |
The following changes to public health and workplace safety measures are in effect as of March 21, 2022. For the full list of measures in effect, see O. Reg. 364/20.
- Capacity limits have been lifted in all indoor public settings.
- Proof of vaccination requirements have been lifted (businesses and organizations may choose to require proof of vaccination upon entry; however the Town of Gravenhurst/Opera House is no longer requesting a proof of vaccination upon entering).
- Protective measures such as passive screening of patrons remain in place.
- When exiting please try to use the closest exit to where you were seated.
- Accessible needs will still be met; wheelchair seating remains and elevator access is also available for those that require it.

Intermission and Washroom Facilities |
- Patrons should sanitize their hands prior to and after using the washrooms.
- We will encourage Promoters / Presenters not to have an intermission during the performance; this will allow the audience to come and go throughout the performance as necessary and ease on possibilities of lineups.
- House lighting will be low to allow for safe movement within the Theatre during a performance.
- The accessible washroom waiting area will be inside the Trillium Court to reduce congestion in and around the accessible washroom.

- Patrons, if you’re not feeling well please stay home!
- Our refund / exchange policy has been amended and will be offered to a Patron who is not well.
- Patrons are highly encouraged to wear face coverings within 2 metres of another person, but this is not mandatory.
- Patrons are expected to maintain safe physical distancing upon arrival & inside the Theatre.
- Patrons will be asked to sanitize upon arriving the Theatre.
- Staff will be on site to assist you in any way.
