1pm - 8pm Muskoka Discovery Centre Festive Christmas Market (more details below) 6pm Cockburn Square Tree Lighting with Mayor and Council followed by live entertainment 6pm - 8:30pm The Shipyards Muskoka Marketplace Ladies Shopping event (more details below) 6pm - 8pm Blue Willow Tea Shop will be open for tea sampling and early Christmas shopping. 6pm - 8pm Hawkestone Soap Co. will be open for early holiday shopping. 6:30pm Festive Pet Parade starting at Cockburn Square (more details below) 6pm - 8pm Come out and interact with other exciting community members including the Gravenhurst Fire Department, the Gravenhurst Winter Carnival Commitee (including Skokie) and others. Get your free hot chocolate and wear your festive attire to strike a pose in front of the holiday lights and selfie frames along the boardwalk and throughout the Wharf. Enjoy live outdoor entertainment and family fun in various locations including Cockburn Square, The Shops on the Boardwalk and near Dock D just before the Muskoka Discovery Centre. Starting at 7pm Live music (indoors) at Boston Pizza. For a chance to win $50 in Gravenhurst Dollars, be sure to enter Boston Pizza's colouring contest. Festive Pet Parade - 6:30pm starting at Cockburn Square |
Bring your best dressed pooch and let them strut their stuff down the Wharf boardwalk. Parade starts at Cockburn Square. All doggie participants will meet Full Paw’Tential Pet Grooming at the parade finish to get a special treat (Dock D just before the Muskoka Discovery Centre.)

Festive Christmas Market Friday November 17 from 1pm - 8pm. (ALSO HAPPENING SATURDAY NOV. 18TH FROM 9AM -4PM!) Something for Everyone: Vendors, crafts, foodtruck, cider, hot chocolate, beer tasting Family Fun: Horse and buggy rides on Friday (6-8pm), visit with Santa on Saturday (10am - 1pm & from 2pm - 4pm), gingerbread cookie decorating, Kidzone Christmas crafts (Friday 11am - 4pm & Saturday 9am - 4pm) and more. When: 6pm to 8:30pm Where: The Shipyards Muskoka Marketplace - 908 Bay Street, Gravenhurst What: Wine & nibblies available. Many of their resident artists and authors will be on site to meet in person and the Yummies in a Jar vendor will be offering samples on the Upper Deck. There will be two guest vendors offering unique gift ideas as well as on site demonstrations of wine related items including wine wands, prosecco and wine recorking instruction and even a deck of cards that was designed by a sommelier. Last but not least, there will also be 5 draws for prizes - but you must be in the store to claim your prize. Please note Shipyards will close from 5pm to 6pm, and reopen at 6pm. |
