 Ontario Park Pass

Ontario Parks has provided free vehicle permits for patrons to borrow in order to access its network of provincial parks. These park passes go out for 10 days (unable to be renewed). One pass is available per library account for a one-time loan period. These passes allow for a great opportunity for patrons to access Ontario Parks’ network of provincial parks and go on an adventure right here in Ontario.

Please Note* If you are planning to borrow our Day Use Park Passes pre-booking your visit is now required by Ontario Parks. This can be done two ways: five days in advance of your intended arrival date.

2. By phone by calling 1-888-ONT-PARK (1-888-668-7275) – Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Adventure Packs

Are you looking to explore outside a little bit more? With the help of our adventure packs you can do just that!

With 4 unique kits to choose from, there is something for everyone! Each pack includes books, tools, games and more to learn about different outdoor adventures. 

Each pack must be checked out by an adult.  Each pack is available for a 1 week loan.

 Ukulele

Our ukulele is friendly on the fingers and simple to learn. Borrow it for 3 weeks to see how simple and fun learning a new skill can be.

 Wonderbooks 

Wonderbooks offer readers a lot of options:

  • following along while the book reads out loud
  • listening with headphones

 Happy Lights

Need a boost or a brighter spot to sit by on those darker, greyer days? Borrow one of our happy lights. Learn more about the science of happy lights. 

 Muskoka Trails Maps

This waterproof packet features mini-maps of local trails on a handy carabiner so you can keep track of them while hiking. Attach it to your backpack and have it as a reference for your newest adventures.

 MIFI

Do you need some portable wireless internet? Our MiFis are personal devices that facilitate wireless access by acting as a WiFi hotspot. They can be signed out for a one-week loan. A MiFi will allow you to use internet wherever your cell phone receives a signal. Patrons have attested that this hotspot device works well “in the bush”!

 Puzzles

300-piece, 500-piece, 750-piece, 1000-piece…we have a lot of puzzles. Our newest batch of accessible puzzles feature larger, easy-to-grasp pieces to accommodate young patrons, patrons who are visually-impaired or patrons with fine-motor difficulties.

 Board Games

We’ve got the classics—Scrabble, Yahtzee, Clue, Sorry—as well as newer games including Sushi Go and Catan.

 DAISY Readers

DAISY readers—Digital Accessible Information Systems--were designed for talking books for people with visual impairments or a print disability.
