The Gravenhurst Opera House and PRISM Theatre present ROBIN HOOD, an all ages adventure!  It's a rousing, fun-filled, fast-paced re-telling of the classic tale, full of adventure and intrigue and the exciting action scenes that PRISM is known for.  In this adaptation, Robin and Marian band together to defeat the wicked Sheriff and the greedy Bishop, who have installed themselves as the power behind the throne while King Richard is away fighting in the wars. In the end, teamwork and wit save the day!

The cast is comprised of talented local young actors - aged 13 - 30.  PRISM aspires to involve young actors in a professionally-led theatre experience and to produce high-quality shows which have delighted and engaged summer audiences since 2008.  Last year's production of Macbeth was a triumph, garnering exceptional reviews and positive audience response. This year's production marks our return to the classics with a family focus (such as our production of The Three Musketeers, 2017).  Robin Hood will be directed by David Wray - our Director of Stage Combat for our past two shows, assisted by Robin Clipsham, Artistic Director.

Impeccable attention to detail is taken in recreating a respectful, and accurate full musical presentation with full band, completely live.
