Situated on Lake Muskoka at the Muskoka Wharf is a Centre full of activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy! You'll be able to find art, games, interactive exhibits, beautiful boats and so much more - all while learning about Gravenhurst and the history of boats and the steamships! Make sure not to miss out on the Watershed Wonders exhibit and learn a bit about the wildlife in Lake Muskoka.

2. Spend the day at Gull Lake Park

Pack a lunch, bring your bathing suit and some sunscreen and find the perfect spot where you can spend the rest of your day. The beach at Gull Lake Park will occupy your kids (and the adults) for hours upon hours.  Play games in the water or on land and you’ll have the best day ever.

3. Watch a movie at the Muskoka Drive-In Theatre

Drive over in your car to the Muskoka Drive-In Theater and take in a movie, but outside! You’ll be watching the movie from the inside of your car; bring some pillows, blankets and snacks. Take in the movie, the stars and the memories you’ll be making with your family!

4. Go watch the stars at Torrance Barrens Dark Sky Preserve

For the best stargazing, head over to the Torrance Barrens Dark-Sky Preserve and be prepared to be amazed by countless stars hanging above your heads. The sun does set later throughout the summer, but it’ll be worth it when you see how amazed the kids are by the sky. The cost might be free, but the memories will be absolutely priceless.

5. Go parasailing over Lake Muskoka

New to Gravenhurst, but oh-so-fun is Ski-Mazing Watersports and Parasailing at the Muskoka Wharf! Your kids will absolutely love the chance to go parasailing over Lake Muskoka. They will get (and you can too, parasailing is a crowd pleaser for all) the best view of the lakes, the trees and the town! Don’t miss this awesome opportunity to go parasailing while you’re in Gravenhurst.

6. Cruise Lake Muskoka

Experience Gravenhurst in a new light, and head to the Steamships that are docked at the Muskoka Wharf. Board your family on the Steamships and head out on to the lake. Whether it is during the day or at sunset, you'll have amazing views of Lake Muskoka, the trees the sky and everything beautiful.

7. Spend a couple of hours at the Splash Pad

Splish, Splash, they were having a blast! If it’s a hot, sunny day (or even if it’s not) make your way over to the Muskoka Wharf and you’ll find the Gravenhurst Splash Pad. It will be a matter of seconds before your kids are having fun at the Splash Pad.
