Mandate & Primary Role

Mandate: to advise, assist and make recommendations to Council on matters related to the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) fund which provides property owners and operators with incentives to improve the physical characteristics of their buildings and properties.

Primary Role: to review and consider applications for all CIP grants (with the exception of tax increment grants or development or development charges grants) and ensure that approvals for funding conform to the Streetscape and Façade Design Guidelines.

Terms of Reference

Terms of Reference outlines the purpose, structure, operating rules, and define the various roles of membership within a Subcommittee.

The Terms are jointly developed and approved by Council, and can change as the nature of the work of Council evolves.
