Elexicon Energy has contracted Davey Tree Canada to perform tree trimming , to clear vegetation back from overhead lines in the u rban areas of Gravenhurst
This tree trimming program is a regulatory mandate from the Ontario Energy Board (OEB); overhead lines must be pruned on a 3 year cycle.
Work is to take place and be completed between December 12 to May 31, 2020 .

The Task
The swing bridge is now finished and steel work has been completed on both the swing bridge and the fixed bridge. The fixed bridge is scheduled to float upstream within the next week and placed on the pier where tests will be conducted.
