Advisory: Town removing floating docks for the winter

Starting Oct. 16, Town of Gravenhurst staff will begin removing all municipal floating docks at municipal boat launches. 

Town staff hope everyone enjoyed this warm and long boating season. 

These docks are located at the following locations:

• Riley Lake Landing (1178 Riley Lake Rd.)
• Franklin Park Launch (1615 Kilworthy Rd.)
• North Morrison Lake Landing (1179 N. Morrison Lake Rd.)
• North Kahshe Lake Landing (1290 N. Kahshe Lake Rd.)
• Moody Drive Gull Lake Launch (310 Moody Dr.)
• Lorne Street Beach (615 Lorne St.)

The removal of the floating docks helps preserve the lifespan of these assets. 

Users of any of the municipal docks noted above should take note of the removal date and take appropriate actions.
