Applications now open for 2026 community grants
The Town of Gravenhurst is now accepting applications for two key community funding opportunities: The Terence Haight Financial Assistance Program and the Community Improvement Program.
Both funding streams aim to support local organizations and business initiatives that strengthen the community and contribute to the long-term development of Gravenhurst.
Applications for both programs are due by 4 p.m. on Dec. 15.
Terence Haight Financial Assistance Program
Terence Haight Financial Assistance Program grants provide support to qualifying non-profit organizations and registered charities that deliver programs, services, or events for the benefit of Gravenhurst residents.

Community Improvement Program
The Community Improvement Program (CIP) provides targeted investment to develop a more attractive, safe, and efficient community within the urban core/designated CIP boundary by assisting property and business owners through several grant reimbursement categories, including façade improvements, signage, and more.
New this year is the Commercial Safety and Technology Grant (previously the Downtown of Tomorrow Grant) which encourages technology-focused improvements to qualifying commercial properties.
The town’s economic development staff are available to help with CIP applications. Please contact staff to make an appointment.
