Canada Day 2025 at Gull Lake Rotary Park in Gravenhurst

Gull Lake Rotary Park in Gravenhurst is the place to be on Canada Day.

The town has a variety of fun-filled activities planned for the country’s 158th birthday.

“We are so fortunate to live in this great land and July 1 is a terrific opportunity for us to gather and celebrate all that is wonderful about Canada,” Mayor Heidi Lorenz said. “I hope that everyone in our community will join us for what will be a special day.” 

Canada Day activities take place in the park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The day includes the following:

  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Face painting.
  • 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Interactive tents (Gravenhurst Fire Department, Gravenhurst Public Library, EarlyON, Muskoka Master Gardners, Gravenhurst YMCA), laser tag, Junior Firefighter Challenge, and mini-golf. 
  • 11 a.m. – Barbecue.
  • 11:30 a.m. – Speeches, cake and cupcakes.
  • Noon – Jam Sandwich (children’s performer).
  • 1 p.m. – Lofty the Magician.
  • 1:30 p.m. – Cam Galloway (local musician).
  • 2:45 p.m. – Highway 11 Corridor Ukulele Band.
