Gravenhurst hosting Community Organization and Sport Information Night

The Town of Gravenhurst will hold its inaugural Community Organization and Sport Information Night on Tuesday, Aug. 25.  

The event is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Terry Fox Auditorium at the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre.  

“This is an opportunity for local sports organizations and community groups to connect with families, promote their programs, answer questions, and assist with registrations for the upcoming season,” Mayor Heidi Lorenz said. “This will be a great chance for families to learn what’s available in Gravenhurst throughout the year.”  

Several organizations will be at the event, including the Gravenhurst Girl Guides, Gravenhurst Scouts, Gravenhurst YMCA, Muskoka Aquatic Club, Muskoka Hornets Baseball, Skate Muskoka, and South Muskoka Minor Hockey to name a few.  

“Please join us for what will be an informative and fun night,” said Nicole Gray, community recreation coordinator for the Town of Gravenhurst.
