More about significant weather event declarations

A declaration is made per Ontario’s Minimum Maintenance Standards for municipal roads.

A declaration does not mean a reduced level of service. However, a declaration does mean that due to current or forecast conditions it might take longer than usual to bring roads back to optimal conditions.
