Halloween fun in Gravenhurst

The Town of Gravenhurst is offering some terrific Halloween fun in the days ahead.

Gravenhurst Halloween Trick-or-Treat will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 25.

Trick-or-treaters can participate by visiting businesses in the downtown. Businesses taking part in the event will have a Gravenhurst Trick-or-Treat poster on display.

Trick-or-Treaters are reminded to stop by Heritage Square, in front of the Gravenhurst Opera House, where town staff will be handing out candy. There will also be an opportunity to do a craft.

Another activity is the Gravenhurst Public Library’s family-friendly Spooky Story Hour. It runs from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

And on Halloween, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the town and the YMCA are offering Spook Spot in the YMCA gymnasium at the Centennial Centre.

Spook Spot is designed as a trick-or-treat pit stop for youngsters. The event will include a maze, archery and axe throwing, and much more.

There is no cost to attend Spook Spot.
