Notice - Morrison Lake boat launch

The Town of Gravenhurst is informing residents and visitors of the current condition of the boat launch at Morrison Lake.  

Due to sustained low water levels and resultant propeller wash, the boat launch at Morrison Lake has experienced structural damage. 

The public boat launch is at 1179 North Morrison Lake Rd.

The boat launch is still accessible, but users are advised to exercise caution.

Please be aware that usage of the ramp is at your own risk.

The town urges all individuals to prioritize safety and consideration for their own equipment and for others in the area. 

The town is coordinating with the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) to secure a permit for an emergency repair.

The town appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation in ensuring the safety of our waterways.
