Notice – North Morrison Lake Boat Launch

Please be advised of planned work at the North Morrison Lake Boat Launch.

On Aug. 12, 2025, the Town of Gravenhurst provided notice of condition and concerns of the public boat launch located at 1170 North Morrison Lake Rd. 

The Town of Gravenhurst has received approval of the required permit from the Ministry of Natural Resources for emergency repair.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, town staff will begin to place environmental protectionary measures and start the repair of the boat launch. 

During this time, the boat launch will be closed. No alternative options are available to the public to access Morrison Lake. Residents should plan for a full closure during the repair for a minimum of two days.
