Muskoka Wifi Inc is committed to providing high-speed internet to rural areas. In a region challenged with thick forest, lakes, and rugged terrain internet connectivity is inaccessible for many and residences are without reliable service. Muskoka Wifi is committed to providing high-speed internet at a responsible price and delivering this need for the community. Muskoka Wifi Inc follows general and technical requirements, including our duty to report and respond to governing bodies and the public. We value the beauty of The Town of Gravenhurst and work to minimize visual impact, respecting residential surroundings. Towers will not exceed a height of 150Ft and will be strategically placed to maintain the natural beauty of Gravenhurst.

Muskoka Wifi has taken into account that all other local towers that would be considered a reasonable choice, each was fully investigated, through the use of a facilitator tower lease company. Muskoka Wifi was unsuccessful at finding an existing antenna system that permits the use of our equipment and placement of equipment to function at optimal efficiency. The placement of antenna systems plays an important role in the performance of internet-provided services. Fortunately, Muskoka Wifi was successful in locating an ideal placement for towers that would not compromise any local residences' view and would allow for optimal performance of antenna equipment. 

Muskoka Wifi will be in full compliance with Health Canada’s guidelines Safety Code 6 at all times. Health Canada's Safety Code 6 has large safety margins built in to provide asignificant level of protection for the general public and people working near RF sources. Muskoka Wifi Inc will be operating all equipment well within the guidelines, for more information please email will@muskokawifi.ca. The tower resides on private property and will not be accessible to the public, safety signs and notifications will be placed on the tower. Muskoka Wifi Inc will be in full compliance with any requirements under the Canadian Environmental Act, 2015.

Installation practices include structural adequacy and have been authorized by the Township of Severn. Muskoka Wifi has followed all requirements and local processes to ensure structural integrity.

The tower will comply with all requirements and markings for Transport Canada’s aeronautical obstruction marking requirements for the height of the structure.

The tower is strategically located with appearance and aesthetics to respect the surrounding area and avoid disturbance to natural features.
