UPDATE: Outdoor spaces continue to reopen

The Town of Gravenhurst is providing an update on the reopening of some outdoor spaces that were closed following the ice storm. 

Contractors and staff are happy to announce the following locations are now open for public use. 

Reopened Friday, May 9, 2025:

• Staff Sergeant Larry Bigley K9 Park
• Lorne Street Beach
• Ungerman Gateway Park
• Barkway Cemetery
• Barkway Pioneer Cemetery
• Gull Lake Rotary Park (Except Tennis Courts and Third Street Access Point)

Please refer to our website for the list of parks, trails, and cemeteries that remain closed until assessments and clean-up activities can occur by our team and our contractors.
