Winter parking restrictions in place

The Town of Gravenhurst is reminding the public that winter parking restrictions are now in effect.

Please make sure your vehicles are parked in driveways and off the curbs of the road between the hours of midnight and 7 a.m. This allows for proper snow removal operations to take place in the town without obstructions.  Vehicles found in contravention will be subject to penalties and may be towed at the owner’s expense.

While clearing your driveways and paths, please ensure that the snow is not being deposited on the road as it can cause hazardous driving conditions to motorists and is an offence under the Highway Traffic Act.

The town appreciates the public’s cooperation, and we look forward to a safe winter season.
