Every few millennia, a comic emerges, born from the cosmic soup of fate and time, jostled by the gales of change onto the unpredictable shores of comedic brilliance. This is a man who embodies pluck and wit, lighthearted yet encumbered, and a naivete that somehow remains endearing. As Derek says: In the grand contest of life, he stands proudly as a bona fide "participant."

Well ... truth be told, there’s a lot more to it than that. From Vegas to St. John's, this Just For Laughs veteran is universally considered to be among the comic elite. Certainly, his peers think so, as evidenced by the fact that he's a four-time nominee, and winner of Best Standup Comic - Canadian Comedy Awards, as well as a multiple Gemini nominee for Best Performance in a Comedy. As Rick Mercer says, "Everyone knows Derek is the funniest man in Canada."

Clearly the critics agree: "5 STARS - the funniest man on earth" - Winnipeg Free Press; "4 STARS - the crowd howled" - Victoria Times Colonist; "still the funniest man in Canada" - Toronto Sun; "Edwards reigns as the King of Canadian comedy" - Charlottetown Guardian; "Derek Edwards is hysterical" - Calgary Sun; "Edwards takes stand-up to next stage" - Georgia Straight; "the epitome of timing & storytelling" - Halifax Chronicle Herald; "the comedian's comedian" - London Free Press.

So come on out and join Derek for his latest show, Oxy Moron, as it makes its way across Canada. Expect a night of perceptive guesswork and charmingly misguided jabs from a cherished performer. Enjoy some hearty laughs, a sprinkling of wisdom, and the pleasure of mingling with fellow humans. It's a triple win!

A Coast-to-Coast Cowboy Christmas starring George Canyon & Aaron Pritchett

Tuesday, November 25, 2025
Doors open at 7 PM; Show begins at 7:30 PM
Tickets: $59 plus applicable fees & taxes

CCMA winners, and beloved Canadian country superstars George Canyon and Aaron Pritchett unite for their coast to coast Cowboy Christmas tour. With countless accolades between them, and over 25 years of hits, the pair will come together to treat fans to some of their own chart topping songs, as well as some all-time favorite Christmas classics. Truly a show not to be missed, in celebration of the Holiday season.

George Canyon rose to becoming one of Canada’s hottest Country Music stars in the early 2000’s and has won countless accolades and awards, including Juno Awards, CCMA Awards, and ECMA Awards to name a few. He has been inducted into the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame, recorded 12 albums, and was presented a certified Platinum Award for his debut album ‘One Good Friend’. With country iconic hits like Just Like You, I Believe in Angels, Drinkin’ Thinkin’, Daughters of the Sun, I Got This, I Want You To Live, Slow Dance and many, many more, he is also a highly regarded humanitarian, strong supporter of the military, and, most important, a proud father and devoted husband.

Canyon’s tireless work as spokesperson for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and his ongoing support for Canada’s Armed Forces has earned him much National and International recognition. Among them, he was honored with the Humanitarian Award by the Canadian Country Music Association, the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal, and was also made the first ever Colonel Commandant of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets by the Honourable Peter MacKay, former Minister of National Defense.

Outside of his music and charitable work, many people might also recognize George for his numerous roles on the big screen. From Charlie Wells in the hit television show Heartland and the head forest ranger in Trailer Park Boys, to Bull Shelton in the Hallmark Channel’s highest-rated original Christmas movie “One Starry Christmas”. George also guest starred on stage in the musical production of Grease in 2018 at the Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto.

Among his many identities, Canyon is also a proud Canadian and huge hockey fan, and roots for his team, the Calgary Flames, for which he is in his sixth season singing the national anthem during the home games.

George released his new memoir on November 8th, 2022 with Simon & Schuster Canada, titled ‘My Country’ - a heartfelt and candid memoir charting his humble beginnings in rural Nova Scotia, the hard-won success he found under the bright lights of Nashville, Tennessee, and the life lessons learned on and off the road that ultimately led him home.

Aaron Pritchett has been a household name in Canadian Country music for 20 years, but when Aaron Pritchett hits the stage, he does so with the energy and intensity of an artist fresh on the scene. Yet despite being known for his dynamic, even raucous, live shows, it’s the classically country gentleman inside of Pritchett that’s made him a fan favourite - and staying force in Canadian country - for more than two decades.

With 13 Top Ten hits under hits under his belt [buckle], Pritchett has made a career of seamlessly moving from good ol’ boy anthems like “Hold My Beer” to pop-tinged party pleasers like “Worth a Shot” to heart-string pulling ballads like “Warm Safe Place”. He could have stopped when he had enough to fill a Greatest Hits album - which he did in 2015 - but instead he followed it up with several more including his 2019 #1 single, “Better When I Do”. Throughout it, Pritchett has racked up more than 30 Juno, CCMA, WCMA and BCCMA nominations including multiple wins for Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and a CCMA SOCAN Songwriter of the Year award.

With his writing, Pritchett continues to push the boundaries of the country genre. And while he refuses to be pigeon-holed, staying grounded in his roots is one thing he insists on.

A philanthropist at heart, in 2022 he launched his Annual Big Wheel Charity Golf Classic. The event has raised more than $150,000 to date for community-minded charities.

Tim Baker ON Tour This Christmas: Small Halls and Holiday Songs

With opener Rachel Bobbitt

Thursday, December 11, 2025
Doors open at 7:00 PM; Show begins at 7:30 PM
Tickets: $45 plus applicable fees & taxes

Juno Award-nominated, Polaris Prize short-listed, ECMA-laden musician Tim Baker has spent the vast majority of his touring life expressing his music through the power of a 5-7 piece band - his former, Hey Rosetta!, and his current, Tim Baker & All Hands. Always one to keep reimagining and reconnecting in different ways, this December the Canadian troubadour is reducing the arrangements, focusing the light, and watching the songs expand to fill the space; laying bare his extraordinary songwriting, his extraordinary spirit, his extraordinary journey here.

Tim will be joined by his guitarist and good friend Sam Gleason, performing stripped-back versions of songs from across his extensive catalogue, with a particular focus on tracks from last year’s critically-acclaimed holiday album, Full Rainbow of Light.

Join us for an intimate evening of music this December, as winter takes hold, and the warmth, nostalgia, and hope of the holiday season begins to shine through, in this dynamic performance from one of Newfoundland’s greatest cultural treasures.

Rachel Bobbitt

The ocean looms, uncaring yet vital, conceptually and actually on Bobbitt’s debut full-length LP, Swimming Towards the Sand. Raised in the windswept Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Bobbitt roots herself in the memories and milestones of home more than a decade after her voice first found an audience through the lens of internet virality. Growing up in a musical household, where her mom’s side hosted kitchen fiddle parties, Bobbitt was surrounded by music from the beginning.

Bobbitt wields her jazz-trained voice like a guitar or keyboard, layering harmonies in conversation with herself, sometimes subtly, and sometimes pulling focus.

With one of the most recognizable voices in Canadian music history, alternative rock band Crash Test Dummies are a three-time Grammy nominated and JUNO award-winning group, who soared to the top of the worldwide charts in the early 1990’s with hits “Mmm, Mmm, Mmm, Mmm” and “Superman’s Song”. Their cover of “The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead” was a highlight of the soundtrack to the blockbuster film, “Dumb and Dumber”, while simultaneously reaching #4 on the US Top 100 album charts. All of their releases keep the same folk-hued, alternative spirit of their early sound, centering around the distinct baritone of frontman Brad Roberts and Ellen Reid’s folk-rock fusion.

After a twenty-year hiatus, the Crash Test Dummies reunited in 2018 for a two-week tour to celebrate their most successful album “God Shuffled His Feet”. The overwhelming reception to these shows has since led to continuous touring across two continents, with sold-out shows across the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.

“Touring again was not something we’d planned on, but surprisingly– at least to me – there are lots of people who many years later, still want to come and hear us,” says lead singer and principal songwriter Brad Roberts. “It’s humbling, being in the confidence of so many people.” The band is returning to Europe and the UK in the fall of 2024 for an extensive tour before heading down under for sold-out shows in Australia and New Zealand in early 2025.

The dynamic and high-energy stage show features the band’s most iconic songs, performed by original members Brad Roberts, Ellen Reid, Dan Roberts and Mitch Dorge. Joining them are long-standing guitarist Stuart Cameron and relative newcomer Leith Fleming-Smith, Canada’s keyboard whiz-kid.

2025 will also see the band release a “Greatest Hits” double vinyl, which includes their first two new songs in fifteen years - ‘Sacred Alphabet’ and ‘When First the Heart’ - along with a live version of showstopper and fan favorite “Heart of Stone”.
