After reports of glass in the water at Muskoka Bay Park, staff screened the sand within the swim area and the beach is now open. 

Staff have removed the hazards in the swim area, and we are pleased to let you know the Muskoka Beach Park Swim area is open as of 3:00 pm on July 31.

Please be advised of this EMERGENCY railroad closure happening tonight from 7 pm - early morning July 30 (tomorrow). If you need to get to Bala or beyond, we recommend detouring through Bracebridge.

Muskoka Boat and Cottage Show and Muskoka Ribfest this weekend

The Tall Pines Music and Arts Festival takes place at Gull Lake Rotary Park on Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20.

North Kahshe Lake Road is anticipated to reopen by noon today (Monday, July 15, 2024).

The Ministry of Natural Resources – Bracebridge-Minden-Parry Sound District is advising area residents that a Watershed Conditions Statement – Flood Outlook Bulletin is in effect for the district until Friday, July 19, 2024.
