Fall Self-Guided Programs

Library Scavenger Hunts

Explore the library in a whole new way with our monthly scavenger hunts! October features a spooky Haunted House Hunt, November brings a dino-themed DiNovember Hunt, and December celebrates with a festive Gingerbread Man Hunt. Solve clues, find hidden items, and discover fun facts in these self-guided adventures for curious minds and children of all ages!

Children's Reading Challenge

Keep the reading fun going all fall! Children can pick up a reading log each month, track the days they read, and complete the monthly special challenge! Return the completed log to be entered into the monthly prize draw and celebrate your progress while discovering new stories!

Pick up a Log from the front desk or print one here

Kids' Colouring Contest

Calling all kids! Unleash your creativity with our monthly colouring contest! Grab a colouring sheet from GPL or our website, add your personal touch, and submit it for a chance to win a prize.

Parents/Guardians: Please be aware that children under the age of 10 years old must have a parent or guardian present in the Library. Parents or guardians need to be present in the library at all times during programs and be readily available to supervise their child’s breaks, or early dismissal from programs. Children over the age of 10 are allowed to be in the Library without a parent or guardian present, but will not be supervised by Library staff and are free to leave the program room and the Library at their own discretion.

Please note the Library is not an allergen-free facility.
