After reports of glass and other hazards in the water at Lorne Street Beach, staff screened the sand within the swim area and the beach is now open.

After reports of glass in the water at Muskoka Bay Park, staff screened the sand within the swim area and the beach is now open. 

Staff have removed the hazards in the swim area, and we are pleased to let you know the Muskoka Beach Park Swim area is open as of 3:00 pm on July 31.

Please be advised of this EMERGENCY railroad closure happening tonight from 7 pm - early morning July 30 (tomorrow). If you need to get to Bala or beyond, we recommend detouring through Bracebridge.
