Public Skating

Join us for public skating programs at the Graeme Murray Arena in the Centennial Centre from September to April! 

• Please Note: Cancellations May Occur - for the most up to date schedule, please follow us on social media or check the community calendar
• Fee is $2 per person 

Please note the following posted information

All patrons who participate in ice skating programs must respect the following rules:

• Follow all direction from Arena Operators and Town Staff 
• Children 10 years of age and younger must be actively supervised by a responsible person 16 years of age or older. 
• It is recommended that all skaters wear a CSA approved  helmet while on the ice. 
• Only industry approved skate aides are permitted on the ice surface.

Prohibited Activities

• No spitting or nasal expelling
• No rough play, tag, racing, foul language or inappropriate behaviour
• No carrying children while on the ice surface (including baby carriers)
• No food or drink on the ice surface
• No use of cell phones while on the ice
• No shoes and/or strollers on the ice
• No sitting on the boards
• No hockey sticks/pucks are permitted during Public Skating times
• Skate with the direction of all skaters
• Please exit the ice surface promptly when buzzer rings
