Call for Artists: Muskoka Fall Photo Op Artwork
The Town of Gravenhurst, in collaboration with the Gravenhurst BIA Review Steering Committee, is inviting artists and creatives to submit proposals for an original artwork celebrating Fall in Muskoka.
The selected design will be transformed into a large-scale 4 ft. x 8 ft. outdoor interactive photo-op installation in downtown Gravenhurst.
The temporary placemaking installation is intended to create a fun and visually engaging destination that celebrates the fall season, animates the downtown, and encourages residents and visitors to stop, interact, take photos and share their experience.
We’re looking for something creative, bold, welcoming and unmistakably Muskoka.
Artist Commission: $1,000 + HST
Call Opens: September 22, 2026
Submission Deadline: October 6, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. ET
Preference may be given to artists based in Gravenhurst and the Muskoka region; however, the opportunity is open to eligible artists from outside the region as well.
