Muskoka Wharf: Heritage in Motion (COMING SOON!)

Located on the southern edge of Muskoka Bay on Lake Muskoka, the Muskoka Wharf is an 89-acre celebration of Gravenhurst’s unique heritage. Originally a hub for industry and transportation, this beautiful waterfront setting is now a vibrant destination for residents and visitors.

Follow the boardwalk and visit all 8 interpretive panels to learn more about the history of the Muskoka Wharf.

 

The Muskoka Road Ramble NEW!

The Muskoka Road Ramble is a guided stroll down Muskoka Road, telling the story of how the Homesteader’s Act led to settlement that established Gravenhurst as both a lucrative industrial hub and thriving vacation retreat. See below for information and an audio clip for each location.

Ungerman Gateway Park & The POW Camp
