Town of Gravenhurst Summer Student Program

Each year, the Town of Gravenhurst hires a number of post-secondary students to assist with our seasonal summer operations. This is a great opportunity for students to develop transferable skills, support career goals and learn more about the Town of Gravenhurst! Summer employment opportunities are temporary, full-time positions commencing the first week of May and continue through to the end of August.

Our summer student roles provide opportunities that will allow you to learn, grow, and build your career!

To be hired as a summer student you:

Must be enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution during the school year in which you are applying for a summer job. High school students can apply, however, college/ university students and students in their last year of high school will receive preference.
Must intend on returning to school full-time at the end of the period of employment.
Must be legally allowed to work in Canada.

Returning Student?

If you were employed by the Town of Gravenhurst as a summer student in the past 12 months, please indicate that you are “applying for rehire” on your application. If selected, you will be contacted by the area itself or Human Resources.
